under a star of oaks
I was hesitant to post this image, but decided to anyhow. This appeared to be a spike buck. I am guessing this since I didn’t see any branches on or broken off the antler. The other antler was in a pile of ribs and leg bones a few meters away which makes me think coyotes got this one. Sorry if the image offends anyone.
