This is my great grandfather. I tackled the photo restoration a while ago. The original image is heavily damaged and within an archival frame, which it shouldn’t be removed from. Getting a digital copy and restoring it was a challenge. I redrew the horse with the airbrush in photoshop. The wheel needed some more exact work, so I used Second Life to model a wheel quickly to insert into the photo. In the last version at the bottom, I used photoshop to add some DoF to get a sense of depth.
